Director - Jazz, Creative Movement, Leaps & Turns, Strength & Conditioning

Emma was born and raised in Florence Alabama and graduated from Alabama Connections Academy. She has received training from several studios and companies around the shoals area. Unleash Dance Company is where she really began to grow physically in dance and spiritually. During her time there, she auditioned and became a part of their ministry/competition team. They traveled to and competed in several dance competitions,  attended dance revolution  conventions in Orlando, Texas, Chicago, and North Carolina, was involved in multiple church conferences, outreaches, Sunday services, and even danced at a wedding! She also had opportunities such as photo shoots and video shoots. Emma has been trained in ballet, tap, jazz, technique, contemporary, a little musical theater, acro, hip hop, drama, and even did a little irish ballet for a dance recital! Out of all these different styles, Emma's forte is contemporary/creative movement along with choreographing. Her heart is with ministering through dance and teaching others the same.

Ballet

Kim has had a passion for Christ since she was a little girl. She grew up in South Florida and throughout her teenage years, she spent most of her days dancing at “Many But One,“ a Christian dance studio where she learned from professional dance instructors. She learned to serve Him with her gifts and give Him the glory through ballet, jazz, pointe, and more. As a company member, she toured local, as well as distant churches and schools to spread the Gospel through dance. This experience impacted her life and gave her a love for ministry through the arts. She went to Belhaven University to pursue dance, but God changed her heart to go into elementary education. She loves combining her love of teaching and dance!

Acro

About age 6 Melissa first heard about Jesus and her heart believed in Him and loved him from the start. Around that same time she also started gymnastics classes and her love for gymnastics grew into years of competitive gymnastics in south Florida. Her youth was filled with learning and growing in those 2 passions and that has stuck ever since. Now as a mother of 6 active kids, including 2 beautiful dancers, she is excited to share her knowledge of acro with them as well as your kids!
